Title: The power of your subconscious mind

Author: Joseph Murphy

Category: self help

Publisher: Pocket Books

This remarkable book by Joseph Murphy has changed many people’s perspectives. It has been described as one of the most widely acclaimed self-help books, and one that has helped over one million people around the world to achieve amazing goals, simply by changing the way they think.

The message in this book is that if you believe in something without reservation and picture it in your mind, you remove the subconscious obstacles that prevent you from achieving that end result, and your belief becomes a reality. It notes at some point that by giving conscious attention and devotion to the solution of a perplexing problem, your subconscious mind gathers all the necessary information and presents it full-blown to the conscious mind.

Murphy’s book has interesting twists, revelations and intrigues contained in 253 pages. The topics include; The treasure house within you, how your mind works, the miracle working power of your subconscious mind, mental healings in ancient/modern times, practical techniques in mental healings.

It also tells you how to get the results you want; how to use the power of your subconscious for wealth, your right to be rich, your subconscious as a partner in success, your subconscious mind and your happiness. Your subconscious mind and marital problems, your subconscious and the wonders of sleep, your subconscious mind and harmonious human relations, how to use your subconscious mind for forgiveness, to remove mental blocks, and to remove fear. And how to stay young in spirit forever.

When you delve deeply into the chapters of this book, you find several examples of how your subconscious mind keeps you well, sane, mentally fit, forward looking, and rich. For instance, the segment that discusses how to use the power of your subconscious for wealth says; if you are having financial difficulties, if you are trying to make ends meet, it means you have not convinced your subconscious mind that you will always have plenty and some to spare… Do the thing you love to do, and do it for the joy and thrill of it. There are great examples to support this school of thought.

The review states that this guide, packed with real-life case studies, offers practical advice for advancing your career, unleashing your mental powers, building wealth, creating strong relationships, overcoming fears, breaking bad habits, improving sleep, and even healing minor ailments.

Murphy informs you that your subconscious mind does not argue with you. It accepts what your conscious mind decrees; Think good and good follows, think evil, and evil follows, think I can’t and you won’t, I can and you will.

The author says the special features of this book will appeal to you because they show you why often times you get the opposite of what you prayed for and reveal to you the reasons why.

In the end, he encourages readers to stay focused on their goals and inner peace, despite external challenges.

This book can be found in leading bookstores, online and from some book vendors.
