The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) wants the government to cap the
price of food and stop further increases in fuel pump prices to cushion consumers.
The accountants said that since the beginning of this year, the soaring cost of food and fuel has been a major driver of overall inflation.
